Welcome to BuzzLushes, and today I’m gonna be talking about one of my favorite things to eat here in Los Angeles, which is Italian food and when I mention Italian food, I’m not just talking about like your Americanized spaghetti and meatballs, and fettuccine alfredo.

I’m talking about really tasty Authentic Italian food that especially has been making a splash here in Los Angeles Within the last five years. LA definitely has some great Italian food from some of the top chefs in the nation, Especially from Italy and, if you were to travel to Los Angeles, or maybe you do live in LA.

You’re probably wondering what are some really great Italian restaurants that I must try. Well, since I’m a big fan of Italian food, and I love to visit these restaurants I want to be able to help you guys to be able to find some great great Italian food in this city.


So, let’s not waste any more time, I’m gonna give you ten of some places that you can go to and if you go to these ten then you will be satisfied.


10 Alimento

Alimento

This is a new Italian restaurant and Silverlake. That’s pretty hip It’s a neighbourhood booming with many great new restaurants. It’s creative and soulful Italian food their pork meatballs their tortellini are fabulous here, It has consistently been one of the top Italian places in LA.

So, if you are in the Silver Lake area then stop by this place, You’ll love it.


9 Brera Ristorante

This is a new restaurant in the arts district of downtown the Industrial interior is pretty chic, but the food speaks just as loudly as well.

It definitely fires on all cylinders the tagliette, the grilled octopus and house-made gnocchi are all some of the Highlights here and get their blood orange panna cotta it is so so good.


8 Barrique

Barrique

Venice is known for many great Italian restaurants, and barrique is possibly on the top of that list from the outside This restaurant looks like a house and has that very homey feel to it once you go inside.

But it’s also quite classy as well Their seared scallops are superb and they’re dry fillet steak with shaped parmesan our must tries in this place. So, if you are in Venice, this is the place to go.


7 The Factory Kitchen

The Factory Kitchen IN Los angeles

Another great Italian restaurant in the downtown LA area owned by the same people as Brera, It has quickly become one of the top restaurants in the city. Their pastas such as their handkerchief pasta with almond pesto and they’re tasty porchetta are all highlights that made this place great.

So, this is another place in LA that you cannot miss, especially if you are in the Arts District.


6 Vincenti

Vincenti

This is located in Brentwood Which is a pretty posh LA neighborhood Vincente has been around for a while and has been a longtime favorite of the neighborhood for good reason their fried calamari.

Their pappardelle and their halibut with sweet potato puree are all to die for here, It’s classy authentic Italian food at its best.


5 Madeo

Madeo

Probably the top Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills and quite pricey as well. Madeo is the definition of delicious Italian food their branzino. They’re veal bolognese, and their tiramisu are all things that you must get if you come here.

So, if you’re looking for an upscale Italian dining experience then this is the place to go in Beverly Hills.


4 Drago Centro

Drago Centro

This place is located in downtown LA as well. And you know, there is a pattern going on here at downtown. Drago Centro is owned by Celestino who helped pioneer the Italian dining experience in LA.

This is probably his best restaurant with a menu that has everything from sea bass polenta to fettuccine truffle pasta to their house charcuterie. Again, another upskill Italian dining experience in downtown that you’ll absolutely love.


3 Osteria Mozza, owned by the famous Nancy Silverton

This restaurant is part of the Mozza trio restaurant in Hollywood, It is pricey and it is upscale, but the food is out of this world.

It’s more modern Italian cuisine, But very good their mozzarella cheese is a must right here along with their grilled beef taglia, along with their grilled Octopus. Well, you see how excited I am talking about this.


2 Angelini Osteria

This place in West LA is the definition of Roman style Italian food from chef Gino Angelini .The food is definitely light in texture and flavor, but very flavorful. There was nothing here that I didn’t like in the past few times that I’ve been here their bread.

Their black truffle spaghetti and their grilled octopus salad were all really great things here, And plus they’re green lasagna is a standout at this place that you must try.


1 Bestia

This restaurant is located in the arts district in downtown and is definitely a standout when it comes to Italian food. So far it tops my list, Its a little more contemporary and a little bit more innovative But it fires on all cylinders in terms of the quality and the taste their spaghetti rustacelli their wood fire pizza.

And their bone marrow pasta along with their clams and mussels are all things that are just so so great here. It’s really hard to book a reservation here. But once you can get in you’ll see what all the rave is about.

Of course, there are more than 10 Italian restaurants. You can try in La that are so so great I could have easily included 20 on this list. But if you go with these 10, then you will be very very satisfied, It’s like really authentic some of its really innovative. But most importantly, It’s very flavorful by some of the top chefs in the world.
